How to use it

  1. Sign in, then choose a clear, front-facing photo taken in good light.
  2. The background is removed. Pick the size and background colour, and zoom so the face fits the oval.
  3. Download the sheet (300 DPI JPG), or a Print PDF with Pro, and print at actual size.

Questions

Which size does the Indian passport need?
Passport Seva asks for 35 × 45 mm (3.5 × 4.5 cm) with a white background, the face covering most of the photo. Always check the form you are applying for.
Can I change the colour or size later?
Yes. The background is removed once; changing the size, colour, zoom or number of copies does not use another of your daily photos.
Where does my photo go?
It is uploaded to your own private storage in Designee (Mumbai), processed on our server in India, and the result is saved next to it in your uploads. Nobody else can see it, and you can delete both from your uploads at any time.
