Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Valavan Ventures Private Limited, SF No 157/3, Mandabam Street, Salaipettai, Pernambut Taluk, Vellore District, Tamil Nadu 635810, India (“we”, “us”), for using Designee (www.designee.in). By creating an account or using the site, you accept them.

• You must be 18 or over, or have a parent’s or guardian’s consent.
• You give us true details and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• Team members act for the account owner who invited them.

• Free, Pro (monthly or yearly) and Shop. What each plan includes and its daily limits are on the pricing page. Daily limits reset at midnight India time.
• Shop plans include 3 logins: the owner and 2 people invited by email. They share a brand kit, a design folder and the daily limits.
• Prices are in Indian rupees, include GST and are the full amount you pay. Each payment gets a tax invoice in Account → Billing (our GSTIN: 33AALCV9761F1ZX).
• Payments, renewals, cancellation and refunds follow the refund and cancellation policy.
• We may change prices or plans for new purchases and renewals, with at least 30 days’ notice by email. Your current paid period doesn’t change.
• Customers who bought a lifetime plan from us before Designee keep access to the full PSD library, as promised, and get 50% off their first year of Pro as Founding Members.

• You own what you create and upload: designs, photos, logos and text.
• You give us the permission needed to store, process and show it to you and the people you share it with (your team, or a customer viewing a proof), only to run the service.
• You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload and print, including photos of other people, and logos or symbols of parties, brands and organisations.
• Shops: when your customers upload photos through your photo links, you are responsible for having their consent.

• Upload or make anything illegal, hateful, obscene, defamatory or infringing, or content that harms children.
• Try to break, overload or get around the site’s security, limits or payments, or use bots to copy content.
• Share your login beyond your plan’s seats, or resell access to Designee.
• Use the templates or PSDs in a way section 6 doesn’t allow.

The templates, PSD designs, icons and shapes, tutorials and the site itself belong to us or our licensors, and we give you the licence in section 6. The fonts we include are open-licence fonts (such as the SIL Open Font License), and their own licences apply. Some PSDs use fonts that are not free; the PSD page says “you need this font”, and you must license that font yourself.

If a design shows you, or uses your design or photo without permission, see the content removal policy.

PSDs you download. Once you have downloaded a PSD with the right plan (or a free PSD with a free account), you may keep it and use it for as long as you like, even after your plan ends.

Templates in the editor. You use them while you have the right plan (free templates with a free account). Designs you have already made stay yours to use and print at any time.

You may:

• use them for personal and commercial work: for yourself, your business and your customers (for example banners, flex boards, invitations, visiting cards and social posts);
• change them as much as you like, and print, publish and sell the finished designs (for example, a print shop charging a customer for a printed banner).

You may not:

• sell, resell, share, upload or give away the template or PSD files themselves, changed or unchanged: as files, in a pack or bundle, or on another site, marketplace, WhatsApp or Telegram group;
• claim them as your own designs, or offer them as templates for other people to edit;
• download in bulk to build a collection or to get around daily limits.

This licence is non-exclusive and non-transferable: other customers may use the same designs, and you can’t pass your licence to someone else. If you break these rules, the licence for those files ends and we may pause the account. We log downloads.

We work to keep Designee available and your work safe (daily backups), but we can’t promise it will never be down or never have errors. We may add, change or remove features; for a paid feature, we tell you first if a change affects you. Always check a design before printing it.

You can delete your account at any time (Account → Settings); see the privacy policy. We may pause or close accounts that break these terms, after telling you why where the law allows.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect loss such as lost profit or lost business.

These terms follow the laws of India. Courts at Gudiyattam, Tamil Nadu, have jurisdiction.
