Content removal policy
Last updated 28 September 2026
Why this policy exists
The PSD designs in the Designee library come from our own designers and from designers and sources we buy from. We check them, but a design can still show a person’s photo, or use a design or photo that belongs to someone else, by mistake. This policy explains how to ask us to remove it and what we do.
1. Who can ask
- A person shown in a design, a parent or guardian for a child, or someone the person has asked to act for them.
- The owner of a design or photo used in a design (copyright), or someone acting for them.
2. How to ask
Use the form below, or write to hello@designee.in with: the link to the design on designee.in (or its name); your name and email; who you are (the person shown, their parent or guardian, someone acting for them, or the owner of the work); what is wrong; and a link to proof if you have one. We may ask for proof before we decide.
3. What happens
- Within 24 hours we confirm by email that we have your request.
- Within 24 hours of a complete request, we take the design off the site while we check. It can’t be seen or downloaded during that time.
- Within 7 days we decide and tell you. If the request is right, we remove the design from the library and delete its files (our backup copy is deleted automatically within 30 days). If it isn’t, we put the design back and tell you why.
- If we need more information, we write to you; the 7 days start again from your answer.
4. Copies already downloaded
Customers who downloaded a design before it was removed have the file on their own devices; we can’t reach those copies. When we remove a design, it stops being available on Designee at once.
5. Requests that are not genuine
We may refuse a request that is false, made to harm someone else, or about a design that doesn’t show the person or the work. Sending a false request on purpose may be against the law.
6. Contact and grievance officer
Valavan, hello@designee.in, Valavan Ventures Private Limited.
