How to use it

  1. Type your text in Tamil (or paste it).
  2. Change the size and weight to see headings and body text.
  3. Download a font as a ZIP, or press “Use in a design” to start a design with it.

Questions

Can I use these fonts for business, like flex banners and invitations?
Yes. They are Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font License (OFL): free to use in print, logos and commercial work. The licence is inside each ZIP.
Will these fonts work in Photoshop?
They are Unicode fonts. Photoshop shows Tamil correctly only with its South Asian (World-Ready) text engine turned on; otherwise letters like கொ or ஸ்ரீ break. For older software, use a legacy font with the Tamil font converter. Designee’s editor always shows them correctly.
How do I install a font on my computer?
Open the ZIP, then double-click each .ttf file and press Install (Windows) or Install Font (Mac).
Are my files uploaded?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser, so your files and text never leave your device. It works without an account.
