Questions
- Why does my Tamil text break in Photoshop?
- Older versions of Photoshop and many DTP fonts cannot shape Unicode Tamil, so letters like கொ or ஸ்ரீ come out in the wrong order. Convert the text to Shree-Lipi and use a Shree-Lipi font instead.
- Is the converter free?

- Is my text sent to a server?
- No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser; your text never leaves your device.
- Some letters stay in Unicode. Why?
- A few letters, mostly rare grantha forms, do not exist in Shree-Lipi fonts. The converter lists them so you can replace them.
- Which fonts use Shree-Lipi?
- Fonts such as SHREE-TAM7-0800 … SHREE-TAM7-3990, Shree-Tam-*. After converting, choose one of them for the text in your design software.
